Ingredients
- 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 6 ounces chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 -Grease a muffin tin or line the cups with muffin papers.
Step 3 -Mix the flour, the sugar, the pumpkin pie spice, the baking soda, the baking powder, and the salt in a large bowl.
Step 4 -Crack the eggs into a separate mixing bowl.
Step 5 -Add the canned pumpkin and the butter to the mixing bowl with the eggs and whisk together until smooth.
Step 6 -Stir the chocolate chips and the walnuts into the egg mixture.
Step 7 -Pour the wet mixture over the dry mixture and fold until just moistened, being careful not to overmix.
Step 8 -Fill the prepared muffin tray evenly with the batter.
Step 9 -Bake for about 23 minutes.
Step 10 -Serve warm or at room temperature.
