Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 (10.5-ounce) cans cream of chicken and mushroom soup
- 1 (16-ounce) bag frozen mixed vegetables, such as carrots, green beans, and peas
- 1 (15.25-ounce) can corn, drained
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded, divided
- 1 (32-ounce) bag frozen tater tots
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2 -Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Step 3 -In a skillet, add the beef and cook, while crumbling, until it is no longer pink.
Step 4 -Add the salt, the pepper, the garlic powder, and the onion powder to the cooked beef and stir to combine.
Step 5 -Drain the excess grease from the skillet and return to the heat.
Step 6 -Add the chicken and mushroom soup, the mixed vegetables, the corn, and the milk to the beef mixture and stir to combine.
Step 7 -Pour the beef mixture into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with 1 cup of the cheese.
Step 8 -Top the cheese layer evenly with the tater tots.
Step 9 -Bake the casserole until it is hot and bubbly, about 45 minutes.
Step 10 -Sprinkle the casserole with the remaining cheese and bake until it has melted, about 5 minutes.
Step 11 -Serve.
