Ingredients
- 4 (12 ounces) salmon steaks
- kosher salt, to taste
- ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, crushed
- rosemary, to taste, chopped, for serving
Directions
Step 1 -Season the salmon on both sides with salt and pepper.
Step 2 -In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the oil and butter.
Step 3 -Add the salmon and cook it until the bottom is golden, about 5 minutes.
Step 4 -Flip the salmon.
Step 5 -Add the garlic, lemon juice, honey, and red pepper flakes.
Step 6 -Cook until the salmon is cooked through at 145 degrees F, spooning the sauce over the salmon as it cooks, about 5 minutes.
Step 7 -Remove the salmon from the pan and garnish it with the rosemary before serving.
