Beautiful Grilled Corn is what summer is all about! Golden, sweet, crunchy corn, guaranteed to get joyously stuck in your teeth a little (it's not eating corn on the cob without a bit getting stuck in your teeth, right?!). Slathered in butter and lime juice, or just with salt and black pepper, Beautiful Grilled Corn is a true summer beauty for your taste buds!

Ingredients
- For the corn:
- 8 ears fresh sweet corn
- cold water, to taste
- Optional, for serving:
- butter, to taste
- sea salt, to taste
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- lime wedges, to taste
Directions
Step 1 -Peel back the corn husks, leaving them attached at the base of each ear of corn.
Step 2 -Remove the silks as best as possible.
Step 3 -Close the husks back over the corn cobs.
Step 4 -In a large pot, add the corn and enough of the water to cover them and allow the corn to soak for 10 minutes.
Step 5 -Drain the corn and pat them dry.
Step 6 -Preheat the grill or a grill pan to medium-high heat.
Step 7 -Pull the husks back, but leave them attached to the corn.
Step 8 -Add the corn to the hot grill and cook, while turning the ears every 3-5 minutes, until all sides of the corn are cooked and light char marks appear, about 15 minutes.
Step 9 -Transfer the corn from the grill.
Step 10 -Tie the husks back with kitchen twine to use as a handle.
Step 11 -Serve the corn topped with the butter, the sea salt, the black pepper, and the lime wedges.
