Our usual clan of pre-game chompers always eagerly wait for us to arrive, just so they can start dipping their tortilla chips into this special dip. In fact, everyone always cheers as this cheesy, creamy, hearty dip gets placed out on our card table spread. It's kind of funny. Ingredients

1 pound ground sausage, cooked
1 (10-ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chilies
1 (8-ounce) block cream cheese
tortilla chips, to taste, for serving

Directions

Step 1 -In a skillet over medium heat, add the sausage, the diced tomatoes with green chilies and their juices, and the cream cheese and cook, while crumbling the meat and stirring the mixture, until the sausage is no longer pink, the cream cheese has melted, and all the ingredients are combined.

Step 2 -Pour the dip into a serving dish.
