Everyone loves Taco Tuesday, and this dip knows how to celebrate that weekly flavor festival! Taco Tuesday Dip is a snack that feels as hearty and wholesome as a meal, loaded with juicy, savory, and spicy taco meat and a cheesy, tangy, creamy layer of chili flavor right underneath. A blanket of cheese keeps everything melty and warm, and then what happens next is up to you and your preferred taco toppings! Doesn't matter if today is Tuesday or not, because Taco Tuesday Dip is the dip you can't resist!

Ingredients
- For the dip:
- 1 pound ground beef, can substitute with ground turkey or ground chicken
- 1 (1-ounce) package taco seasoning, plus water as called for on the package directions
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded, divided
- 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded, divided
- 2 ounces green chiles, chopped
- 1 cup salsa
- Optional toppings:
- lettuce, to taste, shredded
- tomatoes, to taste, chopped
- olives, to taste, sliced
- cilantro, to taste, chopped
- jalapeño, to taste, seeded and sliced
- green onions, to taste, sliced
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2 -In a large pan, over medium heat, cook the beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Step 3 -Drain the fat from the pan.
Step 4 -Add the taco seasoning and the called for water to the cooked beef and then cook according to the package directions.
Step 5 -In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, the sour cream, 1/2 of the cheddar, 1/2 of the Monterey Jack, and the chiles, mixing until fully combined.
Step 6 -Spread the cream cheese mixture onto the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Step 7 -Layer the meat mixture on top of the cream cheese mixture.
Step 8 -Layer on the salsa, the remaining cheddar cheese, and the remaining Monterey Jack.
Step 9 -Bake until bubbly and browned, about 25 minutes.
Step 10 -Top with your favorite optional toppings and serve.
