Ingredients

  • 2 (15.25-ounce) cans sliced peaches in heavy syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 3/4 cup salted butter, cut into 1/2-inch cubes, divided
  • 1 (15.25-ounce) box yellow cake mix
  • toasted sliced almonds, to taste, for garnish
  • vanilla ice cream, to taste, for serving

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 -Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Step 3 -Add the peaches and their syrup to the prepared baking dish and drizzle with the almond extract. Gently stir to combine.
