- 2 (1.5-pound) chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 2 quarts of water or broth
- 1 tablespoon salt
Directions
Step 1 -Place the chicken breasts in a pan.
Step 2 -Add the water or broth to the pan, ensuring the chicken is fully submerged.
Step 3 -Add the salt to the pan.
Step 4 -Bring the liquid to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
Step 5 -Turn the heat to low and cover the pan.
Step 6 -Simmer the chicken mixture until an instant thermometer inserted is 165 degrees F, about 10 minutes.
Step 7 -Serve.
