Your plate will be overflowing with crispy romaine, tender chicken, juicy pears, creamy blue cheese, and sweet cranberries. The sweet, tangy dressing drizzled on top makes the punchline taste even yummier. In just 15 minutes, Pear Chicken Salad will have you thinking how funny it was that you didn't believe fruit belonged on a salad!

Ingredients
- For the salad:
- 3 cups romaine, torn
- 1 cup chicken breast, cooked and cubed
- 1 medium pear, sliced
- 1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup cranberries, dried
- For the dressing:
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 teaspoons maple syrup
- salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions
Step 1 -In a large bowl, combine the romaine, the chicken, the pear, the blue cheese, and the cranberries.
Step 2 -In a small bowl, whisk the vinegar, the maple syrup, and the salt.
Step 3 -Gradually whisk the oil into the dressing until blended.
Step 4 -Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss to coat.
Step 5 -Serve.
