Ingredients
- 2 (6-8-ounce) flat iron steaks, boneless, trimmed
- 1 teaspoon dried crushed rosemary
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- lemon wheels, to taste, for garnish
Directions
Step 1 -Sprinkle both sides of each of the steaks with the rosemary, the salt, and the black pepper and rub it in.
Step 2 -In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil.
Step 3 -Reduce the heat to medium. Add the seasoned steaks to the heated olive oil and cook, turning once, until they reach an internal temperature of at least 135 degrees F for medium-rare doneness, about 8-10 minutes.
Step 4 -Transfer the steaks to a cutting board and slice them against the grain.
Step 5 -Serve the steaks garnished with the lemon wheels.
