Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons white pepper
- 2 teaspoons ancho chili powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 (4-5-pound) pork shoulder
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
Directions
Step 1 -In a large plastic resealable bag, add the black pepper, the white pepper, the chili powder, the cumin, the paprika, the oregano, the brown sugar, the salt, and the garlic powder.
Step 2 -Add the pork to the bag; seal, and shake until the meat is coated in the rub.
Step 3 -Let the pork marinate in the fridge overnight.
Step 4 -Coat the slow cooker with nonstick spray.
Step 5 -Place the marinated pork in the prepared slow cooker with the white vinegar.
Step 6 -Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat until the meat is fork-tender, about 8 hours-10 hours.
Step 7 -Shred the meat with two forks and stir it into the sauce in the slow cooker.
Step 8 -Serve.
