  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 (16-ounce) can chili without beans
  • 1 (16-ounce) package mild or sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • green onions, optional, to taste, chopped, for garnish
  • tortilla chips, optional, to taste, for serving

Directions

Step 1 -In a 12x12-inch microwaveable glass pie dish or tempered glass dish, add the cream cheese.

Step 2 -Microwave the cream cheese until it is easily spreadable, about 1 minute.

Step 3 -Spread the cream cheese evenly over the entire bottom of the dish.

Step 4 -Add the chili, spreading it evenly over the cream cheese layer.

Step 5 -Top the chili evenly with the cheddar cheese.
