Famous Fried Wontons are ready in 30 minutes so they’re faster and fresher than any delivery order and they make an incredible appetizer or snack! Make sure you have plenty of dipping sauces!

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground pork, chicken, or turkey
- 1/4 pound shrimp, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon soy or fish sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- ground white pepper, to taste
- 1 pack wonton wrappers
- water, to taste, for sealing
- vegetable oil, to taste, for deep frying
- soy sauce, optional, for serving
- sweet and sour sauce, optional, for serving
Directions
Step 1 -Mix together the ground pork, shrimp, soy sauce, sesame oil, and white pepper into a bowl, combining well.
Step 2 -Lay a piece of wonton paper on your palm.
Step 3 -Add 1/2 tablespoon of the filling in the middle of the wonton paper.
Step 4 -Dip your finger in the water and trace the edges of the wrapper.
Step 5 -Fold the wonton to make a triangle.
Step 6 -Pinch the edges to properly seal.
Step 7 -Heat the oil in a deep fryer.
Step 8 -Once the oil is heated, fry the wontons until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.
Step 9 -Remove the wontons from the oil and drain them on paper towels.
Step 10 -Serve with the soy sauce or sweet and sour sauce!
