Whether you serve it with mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, or anything else you fancy, your tastebuds will come together to celebrate each savory bite. Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
- 2 teaspoons English mustard powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 pint alcoholic cider
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
Directions
Step 1 -Place the chicken pieces in an ovenproof 7x11-inch or 9x13-inch baking dish in a single layer.
Step 2 -In a bowl, combine the mustard powder, the salt, the pepper, the cider, the oil, and the honey together.
Step 3 -Pour the glaze mixture over the chicken.
Step 4 -Let the chicken marinate for at least 1 hour and up to overnight.
Step 5 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 6 -Roast the chicken, flipping and rotating it occasionally, until it reaches 165 degrees F internally, about 1 hour.
Step 7 -If desired, broil the skin-side of the chicken until golden, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 8 -Serve.
