Ingredients
- 4 large russet potatoes, washed and cut into French fries
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon pepper or seasoned salt
- fresh herbs, of your choice, to taste, for garnish
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2 -Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 3 -In a large bowl, soak the cut potatoes in cold water, about 30 minutes.
Step 4 -Transfer the cut potatoes from the water and dry very well.
Step 5 -Place the cut potatoes in a large bowl and toss them in the oil and the lemon pepper.
Step 6 -Spread the seasoned cut potatoes in a single layer on the prepared baking dish.
Step 7 -Bake the fries for 20 minutes.
Step 8 -Increase the temperature to 425 degrees F.
Step 9 -Bake the fries until they are golden, about 20-25 minutes.
Step 10 -Serve the French fries garnished with the fresh herbs.
