- 12 ounces spaghetti or linguini
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- salt, to taste
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 1 pound chicken breasts, boneless, skinless, and cut into long strips
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Directions
Step 1 -In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta to al dente according to the package instructions. Drain the water and set aside.

Step 3 -In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of the butter.
Step 4 -Add the chicken to the melted butter and season with 1/2 of the spice mixture. Cook on one side until brown, about 3 minutes.
Step 5 -Flip the chicken and season with the remaining spice mixture.
Step 6 -Cook the chicken until an instant thermometer inserted reads 165 degrees F, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 7 -Add the remaining butter and the cream to the chicken mixture, scraping the bottom of the pan to incorporate any browned bits.
Step 8 -Bring the chicken mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer until the sauce thickens, about 7-8 minutes.
Step 9 -Serve the chicken mixture next to or on top of the cooked pasta and garnish with the parsley.
