These are like even more basic bagel bites: tangy cream cheese and joyful everything seasoning stuffed inside tortilla strips and pan-fried in rich butter to a golden brown. You don't need anything else, not even dipping sauce, to enjoy Cream Cheese Bites; all you need is an appetite and a desire for a warm, homemade treat that will knock your socks off without any effort. The only real question is whether to make one batch or two!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 6 (8-inch) medium tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons everything seasoning, divided
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Directions

Step 1 -Evenly spread the cream cheese over the tortillas.

Step 2 -Sprinkle each tortilla with 1 teaspoon of the everything seasoning.

Step 3 -Roll the seasoned tortillas up.

Step 4 -Cut the tortillas into 1-inch bites, making 6 pieces from each tortilla.

Step 5 -Melt the butter over medium heat in a large frying pan.

Step 6 -Add the bites to the hot butter and cook, flipping once, until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side.

Step 7 -Serve warm.
