Ingredients
- 40 chocolate sandwich cookies
- 1/2 cup salted butter, melted and cooled
- 1 (10.2-ounce) bag mini peanut butter candy bars
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 (16-ounce) container whipped topping, divided
- 3 cups milk, cold
- 2 (3.4-ounce) boxes instant chocolate pudding mix
Directions
Step 1 -Crumble the sandwich cookies in a food processor or crush them in a resealable plastic bag.
Step 2 -In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed cookies and the melted butter.
Step 3 -Spread the cookie mixture into a 9x13-inch baking dish, pressing the crust base down with your clean hands or with the back of a spatula.
Step 4 -Place the crust in the refrigerator to chill.
Step 5 -Unwrap and crush the peanut butter candy bars in a resealable plastic bag.
Step 6 -In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, the powdered sugar, and the peanut butter until smooth using an electric mixer.
Step 7 -Stir in 3/4 of the crushed peanut butter candy bars and 1 cup of the whipped topping.
Step 8 -Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly across the top of the chilled cookie crust.
Step 9 -Return the dish to the fridge to chill.
Step 10 -In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk and the chocolate pudding mix until smooth.
Step 11 -Spread the pudding layer across the top of the cream cheese layer.
Step 12 -Spread the remaining whipped topping over the pudding layer.
Step 13 -Garnish the cake with the remaining crushed candy pieces.
Step 14 -Chill in the refrigerator until all the layers are set, at least 1-2 hours or up to overnight.
Step 15 -Slice and serve.
