Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh green beans
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more, to taste
- ground black pepper, to taste
- lemon wedges, to taste
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat a grill to medium-high heat (about 375-450 degrees F).
Step 2 -Wash and trim the green beans. Pat them dry with a towel.
Step 3 -In a bowl, mix the trimmed green beans, the olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon of the salt, and the ground black pepper.
Step 4 -Place the coated green beans directly on the grill grates and grill until they are charred and tender, about 4-5 minutes per side. For a less charred result, cook the green beans in a grill basket until tender, about 12-14 minutes.
Step 5 -Transfer the cooked green beans out of the grill and drizzle with the juice from the lemon wedges.
Step 6 -Taste and add the extra salt, as needed.
Step 7 -Serve.
