Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk, divided
- 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
Step 2 -In a bowl, mix the flour, the salt, and the pepper.
Step 3 -Pour 1/2 of the evaporated milk into a small dish.
Step 4 -Dip the chicken breasts into the milk and then roll them into the seasoned flour.
Step 5 -Pour the melted butter into a 13×9-inch pan.
Step 6 -Place the chicken breasts in the melted butter and bake for 30 minutes.
Step 7 -In a bowl, mix the water, the cream of chicken soup, and the remaining evaporated milk together.
Step 8 -Carefully flip the chicken breasts over and then top them with the soup mixture.
Step 9 -Bake the chicken breasts until they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F, about 30 minutes.
Step 10 -Serve.
