Relax knowing these tender tortellini are soaked in a hot tub of zesty marinara sauce, covered with a warm treatment of melted mozzarella that'll have you oozing in so much comfort, you may just need a nap afterwards! Ha! Baked Tortellini in Meat Sauce is the Italian spa of baked pasta. You're sure to feel all comfy and cozy the minute you smell it in the oven.

Ingredients
- 2 (10-ounce) packages refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup white onion, diced
- 1 pound 90% lean ground beef
- 1 (15-ounce) jar marinara sauce
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons parsley, optional, chopped, for garnish
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2 -Coat an 8x8-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 3 -In a large pot of salted, boiling water, cook the tortellini to al dente, according to the package directions.
Step 4 -Drain the tortellini, then return it to the pot.
Step 5 -While the tortellini are cooking, in a large pan over medium high heat, heat the oil.
Step 6 -Add the onion to the heated oil and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
Step 7 -Add the ground beef to the onion and cook, while crumbling the meat, until the beef is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Drain the excess grease.
Step 8 -Add the marinara sauce to the beef mixture and cook, stirring occasionally, until it is heated through.
Step 9 -Add the sauce mixture to the tortellini and toss to coat.
Step 10 -Pour the tortellini mixture into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with the cheese.
Step 11 -Bake the tortellini until the cheese has melted and is starting to brown, about 20 minutes.
Step 12 -Serve garnished with the parsley.
