Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup light or dark brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 (3.5-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 -In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to cream the butter, the brown sugar, and the white sugar together.

Step 3 -Add the eggs to the butter mixture, one at a time, and mix after each addition.

Step 4 -Add the vanilla extract to the butter mixture and stir to incorporate.

Step 5 -In a medium bowl, add the flour, the pudding mix, the baking soda, and the salt and stir to combine.

Step 6 -Slowly add the flour mixture into the butter mixture, stirring continuously, until it is completely combined.

Step 7 -Fold the chocolate chips into the batter.

Step 8 -Use a medium cookie scoop to scoop the batter onto a nonstick cookie sheet.

Step 9 -Bake the cookies until their edges are golden-brown and centers are just set, about 9-11 minutes.

Step 10 -Serve.
