Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, for greasing the baking sheet
- 1 (16-ounce) ball pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
- 4 cloves garlic, pressed
- 1 (15-ounce) can crushed tomatoes, drained
- 2 cups mozzarella, shredded
- 1 (8-ounce) ball fresh mozzarella, sliced
- pepperoni slices, to taste
- Italian sausage, to taste, cooked and sliced
- mushrooms, to taste, sliced
- green peppers, to taste, sliced
- fresh basil leaves, to taste
- kosher salt, to taste
- fresh cracked pepper, to taste
- parmesan cheese, to taste, shredded
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F.
Step 2 -Coat a large sheet pan with the olive oil.
Step 3 -Mold the pizza dough until it fits in and covers the prepared sheet pan.
Step 4 -Evenly top the pizza dough with the garlic, the tomatoes, the shredded mozzarella, the sliced mozzarella, the pepperoni, the sausage, the mushrooms, the peppers, and the basil, leaving an empty 1/2-inch-wide border for the crust.
Step 5 -Season the pizza evenly with the salt and the pepper.
Step 6 -Bake the pizza until the crust is golden-brown and the cheese has melted, about 12 minutes.
Step 7 -Transfer the sheet pan from the oven and sprinkle the pizza with the parmesan.
Step 8 -Slice and serve.
