Your Choices
You can make the following choices regarding your personal information.
Review and Request Changes to Your Personal Information. If you have an account, you may review and update available information and preferences.
Opt-Out of Marketing Emails. You may opt-out of marketing-related emails by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the email or by contacting us as provided at the end of this Privacy Policy. You may still receive service-related and other non-marketing communications.
Control Cookies & Browser Web Storage. To control cookies, your browser may allow you to clear or block cookies from the websites you visit, or clear your browser web storage. Follow the instructions in your browser’s settings. Many browsers accept cookies by default until you change your settings. If you do not accept cookies, however, you may not be able to use all functionality of the Platform and it may not work properly. For more information about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been set on your browser and how to manage and delete them, visit https://www.allaboutcookies.org.
Google Analytics. The Site may use Google Analytics to help us analyze how the Site is being accessed and used. You can learn more about Google Analytics cookies by clicking here and about how Google protects your data by clicking here. To opt-out of Google Analytics, you can download and install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available here.
Advertising Choices. To limit the use of your personal information for targeted advertising, you can make selection by clicking “Your Privacy Choices” in the footer of our Site or take actions including blocking third-party cookies in your browser settings, using browser plug-ins/extensions, and using your mobile device settings to limit the use of the advertising ID associated with your mobile device. You can also opt out of interest-based ads from our advertising partners who participate in the following industry opt-out programs by visiting the linked websites: the Network Advertising Initiative (http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp) and the Digital Advertising Alliance (https://optout.aboutads.info). In addition, some of the companies we work with may offer their own opt-out mechanisms.

We may also work with third parties, including Google, to deliver advertisements. To learn more about how Google uses data, click here (and to opt-out of ad personalization by Google, you can click here).
Many of the opt-out preferences described in this section must be set on each device and/or browser for which you want them to apply. Please note that some of the advertising companies we work with may not participate in the opt-out mechanisms described above, so even after opting-out, you may still receive targeted advertisements from other companies. If you are uncertain whether this Privacy Policy conflicts with the applicable local privacy laws where you are located, you should not utilize the Platform or provide any personal information.
If you are located outside the United States, you should be aware that your personally identifiable information will be transferred to the United States, the laws of which may be deemed by your country to have inadequate data protection. If you are located in a country outside the United States and voluntarily submit personally identifiable information to us, you thereby consent to the general use of such information as provided in this Privacy Policy and to the transfer of that information to, and/or storage of that information in, the United States.

Notice for California Residents
This section applies only to California residents and “personal information” covered by the CCPA, and supplements the information provided elsewhere in this Privacy Policy. It describes how we collect, use, sell, share, and retain personal information of California residents in operating our business, and their rights with respect to their personal information under California law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (the “CCPA”).
Personal Information Collected and the Purposes of Collection and Use
The categories of personal information we collect (and have collected in the preceding 12 months) under the CCPA are described below. For more information about each of the examples listed here, please refer above to the section titled “Types of Personal Information Collected.”
We describe:
To the extent we collect sensitive personal information (as defined under the CCPA), we only use or disclose it for purposes permitted under the CCPA (e.g., to provide the Platform, detect security incidences and prevent fraud, and to verify and maintain the quality of the Platform). We do not collect or use sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about California residents.
Personal Information Disclosed for Business Purposes, "Sold," or "Shared”
We may disclose, and in the past 12 months may have disclosed each category of personal information listed above for the business purposes described throughout this Privacy Policy to our vendors, consultants, and other service providers; to authorities and others for compliance and safety purposes; business transaction participants; our affiliated entities; our professional advisors; and other users and the public (if applicable). Each of these disclosure partners are more fully described in the section above titled "Sharing of Personal Information." In addition, while most disclosures of personal information to our advertising partners or our sweepstakes/business partners are for commercial purposes, in some cases these disclosures are also made for business purposes, such as when an advertising partner uses personal information they collect through pixels in our emails to audit how many subscribers clicked on an advertisement in one of our newsletters.
In addition, we may "sell" or "share" (and in the past 12 months may have "sold" or "shared") your Identifiers, Customer Records, Commercial Information, Internet or Network Information, and Inferences to the following categories of third parties, as described in more detail in the section above titled "Sharing of Personal Information": our affiliated entities, advertising partners, and sweepstakes and other business partners.
These disclosures to third parties are called "selling" or "sharing" under the CCPA because we are either sharing your personal information in exchange for some sort of valuable consideration (monetary or otherwise), or because such disclosure is for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of California residents under 16 years of age.
Retention of Personal Information
We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of collection, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, to establish and defend legal claims, for fraud prevention purposes, or as long as required to meet our legal obligations. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal information, the purposes for which we process your personal information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.
Your California Privacy Rights
In addition to the choices enumerated elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, California residents have the rights listed below. Please note, these rights are not absolute, and, in some cases, we may not be able to respond to your request, such as when a legal exemption applies or if we are not able to verify your identity.
Consistent with the CCPA, you may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. If you do so, we may require proof of your identification, the authorized agent’s proof of identification, evidence of valid permission for the authorized agent to act on your behalf, and any other information that we may request in order to verify the request. We cannot process your request if you do not provide us with sufficient detail to allow us to understand and respond to it.
You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal information (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee or decline to comply with your request if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive, or excessive.
We make every effort to respond to a verifiable consumer request to know/access, correct, or delete within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to 90 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing, and may continue to update you regarding the progress of our response.
California Notice of Financial Incentive
We may offer certain financial incentive programs that can result in different levels or quality of services to you, provided that such programs are reasonably related to the value of your personal information to us. For example, we may offer additional content to users who sign up for our mailing list, giveaways, sweepstakes, contests, or other similar promotional campaigns. We typically ask you to provide your email address or other contact information in order to participate in these programs or campaigns.
We offer these programs and campaigns because, among other things, the value of your personal information to us is related to the value of the free or discounted services, or other benefits that you obtain or that are provided as part of the applicable program or campaign. This value is based on the expense related to offering those services and benefits to participants, along with other factors such as whether and to what extent you take advantage of (or opt-out from) any offerings and whether we are able to use the data we collect from you.
When we offer any program or campaign, there is no obligation to opt-in, and you may withdraw at any time by contacting us using the designated method set forth in the applicable program rules or in the "Contact Information" section of this Privacy Policy. Please review the applicable program or campaign offering or terms to view full details, including how to join.
Notice to Nevada Residents
Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A allows Nevada residents to opt-out of the "sale" of certain types of personal information. Subject to several exceptions, Nevada law defines "sale" to mean the exchange of certain types of personal information for monetary consideration to another person. If you are a Nevada resident who wishes to exercise your "sale" opt-out rights, you may submit a request to us using the contact information listed at the end of this Privacy Policy with the subject line "Nevada opt-out request."
U.S. State Privacy Laws Addendum
Certain U.S. states may also provide you with additional rights under their privacy laws, such as Colorado, Virginia, or Delaware. To the extent such laws apply, this section describes how we collect, use, and share personal information of such residents, and their rights with respect to their personal information. For purposes of this section, "personal information" means "personal data" or "personal information" as such term is defined under applicable state privacy law but does not include information exempted from the scope of such laws.
Personal Information Collected and the Purposes for Collection and Use
We describe:
Personal Information Disclosed, "Sold," or Used for "Targeted Advertising"
We may have disclosed each category of personal information that we process to the third parties listed in the "Sharing of Personal Information" section above to operate our business and for the purposes described throughout this Privacy Policy or at the time of collection.
We may also "sell" or use for "targeted advertising" Contact Information, User Content, Account Information, Your Responses, Device Information, Online or Network Activity Information, other data collected by automated means, and inferences that we create based upon these categories to the following categories of third parties, as described in more detail in the section above titled "Sharing of Personal Information": our affiliated entities, advertising partners, and sweepstakes and other business partners.
These disclosures may be called "sales" under applicable U.S. state privacy laws because we are sharing your personal information in exchange for some sort of valuable consideration. For information about how we use and disclose personal information for the purpose of targeted advertising, see the paragraph titled "Advertising" in the section above "How We Use Personal Information."
Your Privacy Rights
In addition to the choices elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, residents of states with applicable state privacy laws may request the rights listed below. Please note, these rights are not absolute and, in some cases, we may not be able to respond to your request, such as when a legal exemption applies or if we are not able to verify your identity.
Applicable residents may request to exercise their privacy rights to access, correct, and delete above by contacting us at the email listed below and include the State in which you are a resident and the words "Privacy Request" in the subject line.
You can request to opt-out of sales or targeted advertising in connection with cookies and similar technologies that we use on the Site by selecting the "Your Privacy Choices" link at the bottom of the Site or by broadcasting the Global Privacy Control signal. Note that due to technological limitations, if you visit our Site from a different computer or device, or clear cookies on your browser that store your preferences, you will need to return to the Site to select your preferences or rebroadcast the GPC signal.
Where permitted by applicable privacy law, you may also designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. If you do so, we may require your proof of identification and any other information that we may request in order to verify your request, including evidence of valid permission for the authorized agent to act on your behalf.
If we notify you that we will not take action on your request, you may appeal such refusal within a reasonable period after receipt of the notice by following the instructions provided in the notice or by contacting us at the email listed below. We will process your appeal in compliance with the applicable state privacy law.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at our discretion and at any time. When we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will enforce the terms of the new policy going forward. In some cases, we may notify you about an update by sending you an email, posting a notice about the update on the Platform, or other means as may be required by applicable law. In all cases, your continued use of the Platform following posting or other notification of changes constitutes your acknowledgement of such changes. Please review this Privacy Policy periodically to keep up to date on our most current policies and practices.
