A Taco Ring might sound like the greatest marriage proposal ever, but it’s actually a quick and easy dinner dish. Seasoned taco beef and cheese are wrapped in crescent rolls and baked as a pull-apart ring. Top your Taco Ring with your favorite typical taco dressings and add-ons for extra deliciousness in every bite. Taco night just got a whole lot more fun.

Ingredients

• 1 pound ground beef • 1 package taco seasoning mix • 1/2 cup water • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded • 2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls • Lettuce, optional, shredded and chopped, for garnish • tomatoes, optional, chopped, for garnish • sour cream, optional, for garnish • salsa, optional, for garnish • guacamole, to garnish

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2

In a non-stick pan, cook the beef until it has browned.

Step 3

Stir in the taco seasoning and about 1/2 cup water.

Step 4

Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes. In a medium-sized bowl, mix the beef mixture and the cheese together.

Step 5

Separate both cans of the dinner roll dough into 16 triangles.

Step 6

On a large greased baking sheet, arrange the triangles in a ring formation so the short sides of the triangles form a circle in the center. The dough should be overlapping to form a sun shape.

Step 7

Spoon the beef mixture onto the half of each triangle closest to the center of the ring.

Step 8

Bring the other half of each dough triangle over to cover the filling, tucking the dough under the bottom layer of the dough firmly.

Step 9

Repeat around the rest of the ring until all the filling is enclosed. It's okay if the filling peeks through some of the dough.

Step 10

Bake until the dough is golden brown and completely baked, about 20-25 minutes. Allow the taco ring to cool for 5-10min before adding the desired toppings and cutting it into serving slices.
