Swap the greasy potato chips for these far-more-flavorful homemade Sweet Potato Chips. These bad boys are so delicious you'll forget they're actually healthy. They’re perfectly crispy and flavorful, seasoned with olive oil, salt, pepper, and dried thyme. Serve these Sweet Potato Chips as a snack or side to your favorite sandwich or main dish. Once you start eating these, you won’t be able to get enough!


Ingredients

1 large sweet potato or yam, sliced
4 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon dried thyme

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 3

Cut the sweet potato into 1/8-inch to 1/4-inch slices.

Step 4

In a medium bowl, toss the sweet potato slices with the olive oil until fully coated.

Step 5

Add the salt, pepper, and thyme and toss to coat.

Step 6

Arrange the slices on a baking sheet without overlapping the potatoes.

Step 7

Bake, flipping halfway, until golden brown, about 25-35 minutes.

Step 8

Let the slices cool to room temperature.

Step 9

Serve.
