Ingredients

8 cups of spring mix salad greens
1 large carrot, julienned
1/4 small red onion, sliced
1/4 cup feta cheese crumbles
1/4 cup pecans, walnuts, almonds, or pistachios, chopped
1 apple, optional, sliced or diced
balsamic vinaigrette, to taste

Directions

Step 1

Place the spring mix in a large bowl.

Step 2

Top the greens with the carrots, onion, feta, nuts, and apples.

Step 3

Drizzle the salad with balsamic vinaigrette.

Step 4

Plate and serve.
