Ingredients
• 8 cups of spring mix salad greens
• 1 large carrot, julienned
• 1/4 small red onion, sliced
• 1/4 cup feta cheese crumbles
• 1/4 cup pecans, walnuts, almonds, or pistachios, chopped
• 1 apple, optional, sliced or diced
• balsamic vinaigrette, to taste
Directions
Step 1
Place the spring mix in a large bowl.
Step 2
Top the greens with the carrots, onion, feta, nuts, and apples.
Step 3
Drizzle the salad with balsamic vinaigrette.
Step 4
Plate and serve.
