Place the chicken breasts into a slow cooker.
Using a small bowl, add together the chili powder, cumin, coriander, 1/4 teaspoon of the salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of the pepper with a whisk.
Pour the mixture evenly over both of the sides of the chicken breasts.
Add the garlic and salsa over the chicken breasts, making sure to cover the chicken entirely.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for about 5-6 hours.
Transfer the chicken breasts and let them cool on a cutting board until they can be easily handled.
Shred the chicken into pieces and return the juices to the slow cooker, stirring it combine.
Add in the cilantro.
Return the chicken to the pot, tossing to coat.
Taste for seasoning.
Lift the chicken pieces with tongs and allow the excess liquid to run off.
Place the chicken in the tortilla shells and serve with your favorite toppings.
