Quick Pressure Cooker Artichokes

When artichokes are a pain to prepare, who can save the day? The pressure cooker! Quick Pressure Cooker Artichokes only need 15 minutes to make aromatic and mildly nutty artichokes! Prepare and clean the artichokes by trimming off most of the stems.
Using kitchen shears, remove about 1-inch off the top of the artichoke.
Rub one lemon wedge over each artichoke to prevent the artichoke from turning brown.
Trim and peel the cloves of garlic.
Place the water and garlic cloves into the pressure cooker.
Place the artichokes on top in a single layer.
Set the pressure cooker to cook for 12 minutes on high pressure.
When the time has lapsed, very carefully turn the vent to "Venting" for quick release. Wait until all of the steam has released and the valve has dropped.
Remove the lid.
Combine the melted butter and cooked garlic to make a dipping sauce.
Serve!
