Instead of taking an hour, Quick Chicken Noodle Casserole takes 35 minutes, and yet it still delivers that creamy, hearty savory flavor you want from a casserole. Loaded with tender egg noodles, brights peas, and meaty chicken, this dish is sure to become a hit and a monthly or weekly standard!


2 cups egg noodles, uncooked
2 cups chicken, cooked and diced
1 (10.5 ounces) can cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1 cup frozen peas or frozen vegetables
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, optional, shredded
1 tablespoon butter, melted
2 tablespoons breadcrumbs


Step 1

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Step 2

Cook the egg noodles al dente according to package directions.

Step 3

Drain the egg noodles.

Step 4

Combine the egg noodles, chicken, soup, milk, and vegetables in a 2-quart casserole dish.

Step 5

Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top.

Step 6

Mix together the butter and breadcrumbs in a small bowl.

Step 7

Sprinkle buttered breadcrumbs over the casserole.

Step 8

Bake until the casserole is bubbly, about 20 minutes.

Step 9

Broil for 1 minute to brown the topping.

Step 10

Serve warm.
