Oven Fried Chicken

Oven Fried Chicken brings all the flavor you want in your fried chicken without all the mess of deep-frying! This chicken is crispy and baked to perfection. Serve it with mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, or any side your heart desires. Oven Fried Chicken is savory, crunchy and tender!


Ingredients

• 1 clove garlic, crushed • 1/4 pound butter, melted • 1 cup dried bread crumbs • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped • 1 teaspoon salt • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper • 1 (4 pound) chicken, cut into pieces

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2

Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Step 3

Add the crushed garlic to the melted butter in a shallow dish, stirring to combine.

Step 4

In a separate mixing bowl, combine the bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.

Step 5

Dip the chicken pieces into the garlic butter and then into the crumb mixture to coat.

Step 6

Place the coated chicken pieces into the prepared dish.

Step 7

Drizzle the chicken with the remaining garlic butter.

Step 8

Bake uncovered until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear, about 1-1 1/4 hours.
