For the topping:
1 (6 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup bacon crumbles, cooked and crispy (about 8 slices)
1/2 cup green onions, chopped
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
For the pork chops:
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 1/2 pounds pork chops, boneless
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
Optional garnishes:
crumbled bacon
green onions


Step 1

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Step 2

In a medium bowl, mix the mayo, cream cheese, bacon crumbles, green onion, and 1/2 of the cheddar cheese, until fully combined. Set aside.

Step 3

Heat the oil in a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat on the stove-top.

Step 4

Season each side of the pork chops with the pepper, salt, and garlic.

Step 5

Once the oil is hot, cook the pork chops for 1 minute on each side.

Step 6

Pour the cheese mixture evenly over the pork chops.

Step 7

Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 of the shredded cheese over the top, then transfer the skillet to the oven.

Step 8

Bake until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145 degrees F, or until the pork chops are cooked fully through, about 10-14 minutes.

Step 9

Garnish with additional green onions and bacon, then serve immediately.
