Lamb Souvlaki is a classic Greek dish that’s ready in just 35 minutes and bursting with Mediterranean flavors. What’s better than that? The meat is succulent and juicy after it’s marinated in olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, oregano, garlic and onion! • 2 pounds lamb, trimmed of fat, cut into 1-inch pieces • juice from 2 lemons • 3 tablespoons olive oil • 1/2 teaspoon salt • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper • 1 tablespoon dried oregano • 3 cloves garlic, minced • 1 medium onion, minced


Step 1

Combine the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, oregano, garlic, and onion in a mixing bowl.

Step 2

Toss the meat in the marinade.

Step 3

Cover and chill for 2-24 hours.

Step 4

Thread the meat onto skewers.

Step 5

Grill until the meat has a char on all sides.

Step 6

Serve warm, with any side of your choice.
