Ingredients
• 1 1/4 cups milk
• 1/4 cup vegetable oil
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 cup flour
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• butter, optional, for serving
• fresh fruit or desired pancake toppings, optional, for serving
• syrup, optional, for serving
Directions
Step 1
Preheat a skillet over medium heat on the stove-top.
Step 2
Put the milk, vegetable oil, sugar, egg, flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a blender and combine until smooth.
Step 3
Pour the batter by the spoonful onto the hot skillet, forming 5-inch circles.
Step 4
When the edges appear to harden, flip the pancakes. They should be light brown.
Step 5
Serve with your favorite toppings, including butter, fresh fruit, and syrup.
