These buttery flapjacks are perfect for cozy mornings in your pajamas. You’ll never want to use pancake mix again! IHOP® Copycat Pancakes are easy and quick to make, and you can top them with fruit, nuts, syrups, or any other toppings of your choice.


1 1/4 cups milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
butter, optional, for serving
fresh fruit or desired pancake toppings, optional, for serving
syrup, optional, for serving


Step 1

Preheat a skillet over medium heat on the stove-top.

Step 2

Put the milk, vegetable oil, sugar, egg, flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a blender and combine until smooth.

Step 3

Pour the batter by the spoonful onto the hot skillet, forming 5-inch circles.

Step 4

When the edges appear to harden, flip the pancakes. They should be light brown.

Step 5

Serve with your favorite toppings, including butter, fresh fruit, and syrup.
