Even saying "Honey Glazed Salmon" out loud just sounds luxurious, doesn't it? The fattiness and richness of salmon coated in a sticky, sweet, and deeply savory honey sauce is an enchanting prospect for a decadent dinner that isn't too heavy. Honey Glazed Salmon is basically a good time on a plate that comes together in a flash. Weeknight dinners just got much fancier and much more fantastic.

Ingredients

2 teaspoons olive oil
4 (4-6-ounce) salmon fillets
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
2 teaspoons garlic, minced
3 tablespoons water, room temperature, plus 1 tablespoon cold
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
3 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 1/2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
lemon wedges, optional, for serving

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.

Step 2

Season the salmon with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Place the salmon in the hot oil, skin side up, and sauté until cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. The salmon should flake easily with a fork.

Step 4

Transfer the salmon to a plate and cover to keep it warm.

Step 5

Add the garlic to the pan and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds-1 minute.

Step 6

Add the 3 tablespoons of room-temperature water, lemon juice, soy sauce, and honey to the pan, bringing the mixture to a simmer.

Step 7

Mix the cornstarch and cold water together to form a slurry.

Step 8

Slowly add the cornstarch slurry to the pan, whisking to combine.

Step 9

Bring the mixture to a boil and cook until just thickened, for about 1 minute.

Step 10

Return the salmon to the pan and spoon the sauce over it.

Step 11

Serve topped with parsley and lemon wedges.
