This dish takes cauliflower to the next level with olive oil, crunchy panko, savory garlic powder, and salt. Each bite of this hearty veggie dish is perfectly roasted and crispy, the kind of side you'd expect from a professional kitchen rather than the freezer. Frozen to Fancy Cauliflower can be served as a delicious side dish with any of your favorite entrees, putting the finishing touch on a flavorful meal.

Ingredients

• 2 bags frozen cauliflower florets • 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus more as needed • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs • 1 teaspoon garlic powder • 1/4 teaspoon salt, plus more to taste

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F on a convection roast setting.

Step 2

Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 3

On the prepared baking sheet, toss the cauliflower with 2 tablespoons olive oil.

Step 4

In a small bowl, mix together the panko, garlic powder, and salt.

Step 5

Sprinkle the panko and seasoning mix evenly over the pan, covering the cauliflower and letting some of the panko cover the sheet.

Step 6

Roast for 15 minutes without mixing or turning the frozen cauliflower. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of the olive oil over the cauliflower and panko if they seem dry.

Step 7

Flip and roast until the cauliflower reaches the desired level of brownness, about 5-20 minutes.

Step 8

Serve hot.
