Easy Penne Pasta Bake is simple and therefore the ideal meal to whip up any night of the week. Tender ground beef is served on a bed of penne pasta and tasty spaghetti sauce, and it is topped with ooey-gooey cheese. Easy Penne Pasta Bake is a mouthwatering Italian comfort meal, and you might even have some leftovers to indulge in the next day! Indulgence never felt so simple!


4 cups penne pasta
1 pound ground beef
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 (23.5 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
2 eggs
2 cups mozzarella cheese, divided


Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2

Grease a 9x13-inch oven-safe baking dish.

Step 3

Boil and cook the pasta according to package directions.

Step 4

Cook the beef and green peppers together over medium-high heat in a large-sized pan, making sure to only stop cooking when the meat is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 5

Drain the pan of fat and set the beef mixture aside.

Step 6

When the pasta is finished cooking, drain the noodles and put them in a large mixing bowl.

Step 7

Stir in the beef mixture, spaghetti sauce, eggs, and 1 cup of the shredded mozzarella cheese.

Step 8

Move the mixture to the prepared baking dish.

Step 9

Top the bake with the remaining cheese. Bake the dish uncovered for about 30 minutes.

Step 10

Serve the dish warm.
