In under 20 minutes, Easy Breakfast Sausage is ready to be your tasty, quick main course or a delicious, simple side to your sunrise feast!


1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons dried sage
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes, crushed
ground cloves, to taste
2 pounds of ground pork


Step 1

In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, sage, salt, black pepper, marjoram, red pepper flakes, and cloves until well combined.

Step 2

In a large bowl, place the ground pork.

Step 3

Add the spice mixture and mix with your hands until well combined.

Step 4

Form the meat mixture into six patties.

Step 5

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 6

Add the patties to the skillet and sauté until browned and crispy, and an instant thermometer reads at least 160 degrees F, about 5 minutes per side.
