Slow, sunny mornings call for quick, yummy breakfasts, and Easy Breakfast Sausage was created to fill you up with barely any fuss! In under 20 minutes, Easy Breakfast Sausage is ready to be your tasty, quick main course or a delicious, simple side to your sunrise feast!


Ingredients

1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons dried sage
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes, crushed
ground cloves, to taste
2 pounds of ground pork

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, sage, salt, black pepper, marjoram, red pepper flakes, and cloves until well combined.

Step 2

In a large bowl, place the ground pork.

Step 3

Add the spice mixture and mix with your hands until well combined.

Step 4

Form the meat mixture into six patties.

Step 5

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 6

Add the patties to the skillet and sauté until browned and crispy, and an instant thermometer reads at least 160 degrees F, about 5 minutes per side.

Step 7

Serve.
