Batched cocktails are always a good thing to have for your guests while hosting. That way you can mingle and enjoy and not play bartender all night. Cranberry Apple Cider Sangria can be made in a large batch for any fall event. The apples, cranberries, and cinnamon sticks add a festive and seasonal touch to the already celebratory Cranberry Apple Cider Sangria.
Ingredients
• 3 cups apple cider • 1 cup unsweetened cranberry juice • 1 (26 ounce) bottle red wine • 1/2 cup honey or simple syrup • 1/2 cup Triple Sec or other orange liqueur • 1 cup apples, diced and unpeeled • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries • sparkling water, for topping • cinnamon sticks, for garnishDirections
Step 1
Combine the apple cider, cranberry juice, red wine, honey, and orange liqueur in a large pitcher.
Step 2
Add in the diced, unpeeled apples and the cranberries.
Step 3
Chill overnight, if desired.
Step 4
Serve over ice, filling the glasses 2/3 full with the sangria.
Step 5
Top off the glasses with the sparkling water.
Step 6
Garnish with a straw and cinnamon sticks before serving.
