Coconut Cream Pie has a velvety texture and a bold coconut flavor that evokes warm sand beaches and tropical sunshine. It’s light, smooth, creamy, and refreshing, perfect for summertime parties or springtime gatherings. Coconut Cream Pie might look like fodder for movie mischief, but you’ll agree after just a bite it deserves to be on a plate rather than flying through the air. Although it tastes so good you’ll swear you’re flying!
Ingredients
• 1 (5-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
• 1 1/2 cups milk
• 1 1/2 cups flaked coconut, divided
• 1 (8-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed and divided
• 1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
Directions
Step 1
Using a large bowl, combine the pudding mix and milk until the pudding mixture has thickened.
Step 2
Fold in 1 cup of the coconut and 1/2 of the whipped topping into the pudding.
Step 3
Spoon the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
Step 4
Spread the rest of the whipped topping on top of the pie.
Step 5
Garnish with the remaining coconut.
Step 6
Place the pie in the fridge and serve once it has chilled.
