You can’t go wrong with Classic Tuna Salad! Do you want it in a sandwich, on top of crackers, or draped over a salad? Go for it! Classic Tuna Salad is the right balance of sweet and savory so it goes well in almost any context! With notes of fattiness and citrus brightness, this is a refreshing lunchtime option!
Ingredients
• 2 (12 ounce) cans chunk light tuna in water, drained
• 1 cup celery, diced
• 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
• 2 green onions, sliced
• 1/2 cup mayonnaise
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
Step 1
Combine the tuna, celery, walnuts, green onions, mayonnaise, lemon juice, pepper, and salt in a bowl, stirring to combine.
Step 2
Serve as a sandwich, in a salad over a bed of greens, or with crackers and vegetables for dipping.
Step 3
Refrigerate for up to four days.
