Cheesy Garlic Bread
Time: 20 minutes
Yield: 8 servings
Skip the frozen garlic bread! Homemade Cheesy Garlic Bread has more of that irresistible buttery, savory, and cheesy flavor—the perfect addition to any meal. Best of all, it takes only 20 minutes to make and serves enough garlicky goodness for the whole table, or enough to have as leftovers the next day. Cheesy Garlic Bread is so crispy and delicious, you may be tempted not to leave any leftovers behind!
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Rub the halved garlic cloves on the cut side of the sliced French bread.
Mince the garlic.
Combine the minced garlic, butter, mozzarella cheese, oregano, and parmesan in a small bowl, mixing until well combined.
Spread half of the butter mixture on the cut side of one piece of the bread and the remaining butter mixture on the cut side of the other piece of bread. Make sure every part of the cut side is coated in the butter.
For crispy bread, lay the loaves on a baking sheet, butter side up and do not cover.
For softer bread, put the loaf back together so the two cut sides are facing each other. Wrap the bread in a piece of foil.
Bake until it is cooked through, about 15 minutes.
