The sprinkle of salty crushed potato chips on top ensures you won't miss out on an ounce of luxury as you dig into Cheeseburger-In-A-Bowl!
Ingredients• 1 pound ground beef, 90% lean • 1/2 teaspoon salt • 1/4 teaspoon pepper • 1/2 cup reduced-fat ranch salad dressing • 2 tablespoons ketchup • 4 cups iceberg lettuce, shredded • 4 cups romaine, chopped • 1 medium cucumber, finely chopped • 1 medium tomato, finely chopped • 1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped • 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded • potato chips, optional, to taste, crushed
In a small bowl, combine the beef, salt, and pepper, mixing lightly but thoroughly.
Shape the seasoned beef into four 1/2-inch-thick patties.
Over medium heat, grill the burgers (covered) until an instant meat thermometer reads 160 degrees F, about 4-5 minutes on each side.
In a small bowl, whisk the salad dressing and ketchup together.
In a large bowl, toss the iceberg lettuce and romaine lettuce with 1/2 of the dressing mixture.
Divide the following among four salad bowls: the dressing-tossed-lettuce, burgers, cucumber, tomato, pickles, red onion, and cheese.
Top each bowl with the crushed potato chips.
Serve with the remaining dressing.
