No matter what, Birthday Ravioli Lasagna brings the stretchy streamers of cheese and a party of flavors. Each ravioli is packed with even more cheese (who can't help but celebrate with cheese?) and is nestled in rich and mellow meat sauce. Birthday Ravioli Lasagna tastes like joy and is ready for your next joyous occasion!

1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, diced
1 (24-ounce) jar marinara sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups ricotta cheese
1 large egg
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
1/4 cup parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 (25-ounce) package frozen cheese ravioli
2 cups mozzarella, shredded
parsley, minced, for garnish

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2

Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.

Step 3

Heat a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 4

Add the ground beef and onion and sauté until the beef has browned, for about 5-7 minutes.

Step 5

Drain the grease from the pan.

Step 6

Reduce the heat to low.

Step 7

Add the marinara sauce and the garlic and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often.

Step 8

Mix the ricotta, egg, parmesan, 1/4 cup chopped parsley, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small bowl.

Step 9

Spoon 1/3 of the meat mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.

Step 10

Top the meat mixture in the baking dish with a single layer of the ravioli, 1/2 of the ricotta mixture, and 1/3 of the meat sauce, in that order.

Step 11

Repeat the layers, ending with the meat mixture.

Step 12

Sprinkle the top with the mozzarella cheese.

Step 13

Cover the baking dish tightly with foil.

Step 14

Bake for 40 minutes.

Step 15

Remove the foil and bake until the cheese is melty and bubbly, for about 10 minutes.

Step 16

Remove the lasagna from the oven.

Step 17

Let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes.

Step 18

Garnish with the minced parsley and serve!
