Beef and Broccoli

In a medium skillet, heat the canola oil over medium-high heat.
Cook the garlic in the hot oil until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Add the beef.
Lower the stove-top heat to medium.
Brown the beef, stirring often, for about 4-6 minutes.
In a bowl combine the tomato soup, water, soy sauce, vinegar, and pepper flakes, mixing until incorporated.
Add the sauce to the beef mixture and increase the heat to medium-high.
Bring the mixture to a low boil.
Add the broccoli.
Immediately reduce the heat to medium and cook, covered, until the broccoli is tender, about 4-6 minutes. Stir often to avoid sticking.
Serve over steamed white rice.
