BBQ Macaroni Salad

A great barbeque or cookout calls for a great macaroni salad! And what's better than a macaroni salad that's refreshing and creamy but still keeps the bbq flavor party going? BBQ Macaroni Salad is infused with the sweet and smoky BBQ sauce flavor, with enough tang and heat to keep you excited! Just to make it even more savory and irresistible, it even adds in bites of kielbasa! BBQ Macaroni Salad needs less than half an hour to make, so you can whip it up in a hurry whenever you're about to get the party started or whenever you need a BBQ treat!


1 pound elbow macaroni
1 (13-ounce) package of turkey kielbasa, cut into small chunks
3/4 cup mayonnaise
3/4 cup BBQ sauce
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1 red bell pepper, diced
3-4 green onions, both the green and white parts, diced


Step 1

Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package directions.

Step 2

Drain the pasta and run it under cool water until cooled completely.

Step 3

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the kielbasa, sautéing until lightly browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Step 4

In a small bowl combine the mayo, BBQ sauce, vinegar, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and chili powder.

Step 5

In a large bowl combine the cooked and cooled pasta, diced bell pepper, green onions, and the browned kielbasa.

Step 6

Stir in the dressing mixture.
