These are not your traditional steak skewers! Balsamic Steak Skewers add in a sweet, tangy, deeply savory marinade unlike any other! When paired with bright, juicy tomatoes, these seared steak tips become truly transcendent. Balsamic Steak Skewers are easy to make and will become a hit at your next barbeque.

Ingredients

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup barbecue sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 pound sirloin steak, cut in 1 inch cubes
2 cups cherry tomatoes

Directions

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, barbecue sauce, and mustard to combine.

Step 2

Remove 1/4 cup of the marinade and set it aside for basting.

Step 3

Add the cubed steak to the remaining marinade, tossing to coat.

Step 4

Allow the steak to marinate for at least 3 hours.

Step 5

Prepare the grill gates by spraying with non-stick cooking spray or coating with oil.

Step 6

Preheat the grill to medium heat.

Step 7

Thread the steak and the tomatoes onto wood or metal skewers.

Step 8

Grill the skewers, covered, until the meat reaches at least 135 degrees F, about 8-9 minutes. Turn and baste occasionally during the last 3 minutes.

Step 9

Serve immediately.
