Bacon-wrapped anything is delicious. Bacon-Wrapped Dates is no exception. The fruit is sweet and syrupy, creating a wonderful contrast with the salty, fatty bacon. Filled with crunchy almonds, Bacon Wrapped Dates are an easy and speedy appetizer that will liven up the party. Make sure you make enough because you’ll be coming back for more before you know it!


Ingredients

1 (8 ounces) package dates, pitted
4 ounces almonds
1 pound bacon, sliced

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the broiler.

Step 2

Slit the dates.

Step 3

Place one almond inside each date. Wrap the dates with the bacon, using toothpicks to hold them together.

Step 4

Broil until bacon is evenly brown and crisp, about 10 minutes.

Step 5

Serve warm.
