Bacon Cheeseburger

You could go to your local burger joint for a hot, fresh burger. But a homemade Bacon Cheeseburger will beat any burger in terms of juiciness, fattiness, indulgence, and depth of flavor! With ground beef infused with seasonings and sauces atop a toasted bun, you don’t need any toppings on your Bacon Cheeseburger (unless you want them)! Get ready to be amazed by how quickly this mouthwatering marvel is ready to eat!


8 bacon strips
2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon steak sauce
1/4 teaspoon cider vinegar
1 pound ground beef
4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
4 hamburger buns, split and toasted
lettuce leaves, optional, for topping
tomato, optional, for topping
onion, optional, for topping
pickle slices, optional, for topping


Step 1

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crisp.

Step 2

Combine the onion, ketchup, garlic, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, steak sauce, and cider vinegar in a bowl.

Step 3

Add the ground beef to the bowl and massage it gently with your hands, ultimately shaping the mixture into 4 hamburger patties.

Step 4

Cook the patties over medium heat, covered, for 4-7 minutes on each side.

Step 5

Top the patties with the cheddar cheese and grill until the cheese melts, about 1 minute.

Step 6

Serve the burgers on the buns with the bacon and the toppings of your choice.
