Air Fryer Chicken

Perfectly crispy, juicy chicken tenders without the grease! Air Fryer Chicken cooks the chicken to a crunchy golden brown perfect for dunking in your favorite sauces and condiments. It only takes 30 minutes to get perfect Air Fryer Chicken which you can serve on their own or in savory sandwiches or on top of fluffy rice with a luscious sauce. What’s not to love?


1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1/2 teaspoon pepper, or to taste
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
3 large eggs, beaten
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 pound chicken tenders


Step 1

Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.

Step 2

Prepare a dredging assembly line with 3 shallow bowls.

Step 3

Mix the breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in the first shallow bowl.

Step 4

Beat the eggs in the second bowl.

Step 5

Add the flour to the third.

Step 6

Coat each tender in the flour, then the egg, and finish with the breadcrumb mixture.

Step 7

Add the coated chicken tenders to the fryer basket and spray them with non-stick cooking spray. If all of the tenders won't fit, work in batches.

Step 8

Cook the tenders for 8 minutes, flip, and spray with more cooking spray. Cook until golden, about 7 minutes.

Step 9

Serve immediately with the dipping sauces of your choice.
